Back from Houston... and closer to being a PoPo

Hello all,

I just wanted to say hi and that we are back from houston. It was nice to get a little vacation from work. Although, we didn't actually rest that much. As most of you know, we spent most of the week playing babysitter to children. It was fun at times, and other times it was tiresome. I got tired of kids by Wednesday. I was a little grumpy. But to my defense, it isn't that I don't like kids (which for the most part I don't, other peoples' anyways) I was just overwhelmed going from zero kids to three or sometimes four. I got to hold the new baby. It was weird. I'm not used to holding something so small and fragile. I thought to myself, "I'm going to have a job where people want to hurt me, where I have to carry a gun and drive at high speeds and chase after people, why does something so small scare the hell out of me?"

Anyways, Tammy is doing really well. She is recovering slowly, but the outlook is very good.

I only have one more step before I start at the Northport Police Department!!! All I have to do is pass a physical and drug screen and I will be hired. So I have to lay off the nose candy for a while and drink lots of vinegar.

Ah, the beach. It is just a day away before Rebekah and I get a nice weekend away from the insanity that is my family. I can hear the waves crashing. Oh and there is a wedding this weekend. RoRo, the best man from my wedding is getting married. How exciting. It's pretty cool that the girl he's marrying is only like the second girl he's ever dated. Well, I don't have to work till this evening, so I'm going to go park myself on the bed and watch SportsCenter while the laundry is running. Yes, I am doing laundry like a good husband who doesn't do anythinig during the day does.

Okay, only those of you with Facebook will understand this, but does this new Facebook News Update thing freak anybody else out? It's like a stalker's paradise. Why do they always change it?! I hate change. Stupid Facebook people. I hate Facebook. Stupid people. I hate stupid people.

On a lighter note. I promise that this phrase came out of my wonderful wife's mouth the other day at the mall, "Hey that girl is wearing the same outfit as me. Oh wait, that is me." (while looking into a giant mirror on the side of an escalator) No lie, I married a genius. =) I love you Rebekah.

Just for the record,

I don't sit around the house all day watching Cops. (If you haven't read Rebekah's post yet, do so) And I will do things around the house without having to watch Cops while i'm working.

Besides, they don't have Cops on dvd. I've already looked.

I can get Rebekah to do anything as long as she gets to watch Food Network or Rachel Ray.
